CHGO, 2009. New tower by Pickard Chilton Architects from New Haven, CT. This one seems like another fresh addition to the skyline. Solid details give it depth to keep me interested, and the overall lightness is impressive. More photos to come.

Noon Shadows | Modern Wing

CHGO, 2009. Art Institute Modern Wing by Renzo Piano. At noon the sun finds its way along the open stair through a small slotted skylight. The wall is textured as well, which heightens the shadow experience. It does not last long, so catch it if you can...

Mirror

CHGO, 2009. The new river walk structures/canopies under the movable bridges. There's a reflective surface at the upper most part that is quite unnoticeable at first unless you stop and look up. Although an improvement, it's still a pretty brutal river walk, but that's CHGO. None of the human-ness of say, the Milwaukee river walk.
